Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. For more than a century, they have been the leaders of developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors children, ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. Their mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships with mentors. Big Brothers Big Sisters is for any child who wants or needs mentoring, contributing to a brighter future, better schools, and stronger communities for all.

All proceeds of the Tampa Bay Golf Scramble Tournament will benefit our local Big Brothers Big Sisters, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. The funds they receive will be used to serve children and recruit volunteers so that more children and youth in our community can have a caring big brother or big sister in their lives.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to help children in Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk counties reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships with measurable impact. Volunteers spend several hours a month helping children grow academically and socially. Independent studies show children paired with a caring mentor are more likely to graduate to the next grade level and less likely to be involved in the juvenile justice system.
